Welcome

Vision:

The youth of America are the present and the future of our country and deserve every opportunity to succeed.

Mission:

To provide homeless and at risk youth of America with the tools and support they need to rebuild their lives by funding organizations best able to make a difference.

Values:

All children are created equal.

Individuals want to be able to take care of themselves but don’t always have the tools to do so.

Individuals are intrinsically good.

There are many worthy organizations that exist in America, making a tremendous difference in the lives of young people.

There is a tremendous long term benefit to investing in the development and support of our vulnerable youth.

Goals:

Raise $100 million for 501(c)3 organizations involved with homeless and at-risk youth.

Use the money raised to fund current programs as well as set aside amounts for future needs.

Beneficiary Guidelines:

The board of tellman.org will review requests from non-profit organizations and programs serving homeless and at-risk youth and make grants based on the organization’s needs and effectiveness, tempered by the availability of funds to meet the requests.

RunTellmanRun Description:

Tellman Knudson is embarking on a 3,200 mile, trans-continental run from New York to LA, barefoot to draw attention to and raise money for homeless and at-risk youth.  Tellman starts his run on September 9, 2009 in NYC’s Battery Park and will finish on the Santa Monica Pier in California.  RunTellmanRun is supported by a 9 member crew, all paid for by Tellman Knudson personally.   No funds raised will be used to offset any of the expenses of the run.  Instead, 100% of all proceeds will go directly to tellman.org and distributed to worthy, partner beneficiaries.
